Giuseppe Malpasso – DP

Born and raised in Sicily, Giuseppe is an award-winning producer, director and cinematographer. He collaborated with Showtime, Nat Geo, Discovery, BBC, PBS, RAI Cinema, Associated Press and Magnum Photos. His work has been shown at Tribeca with the feature movie, Blackout, and his documentaries which include Ward 54, Venice Film Festival, Dante Ferretti, Production Designer, featuring Martin Scorsese and Julie Taymor, at Moma. Currently he is receiving recognition for his latest documentary work Astor Place, The American Dream about the New York legendary multiethnic hair salon.
