Giorgio Armani’s Spring/Summer 2025 women’s fashion show was held in New York City at the Park Avenue Armory. The show was titled “In Viaggio” which means “on a journey”.
The show marked the designer’s first mainline presentation outside Milan and it embraced a travel theme, opening with porters carrying suitcases, and showcased a collection of richly layered, textured garments, including silk jacquards and organza skirts. Transitioning seamlessly from daywear to eveningwear, it culminated in a stunning embroidered coral-hued dress.
Following the presentation, a lively soirée featured performances by Chaka Khan and James Blake, drawing a Hollywood crowd that included Gemma Chan, Brie Larson, Brooke Shields, LaKeith Stanfield, Steven Yeun, Cooper Koch, and Meghann Fahy.
The show was a cinematic homage to the films that inspired Armani in his youth and a heartfelt tribute to New York City, a city that has been instrumental in shaping his career.
The entire event, including the show, pre-show, and after-party, was captured using ten cameras, featuring a setup that included two cranes, one Steadicam, and one robotic head for dynamic and cinematic coverage.
